Its been a long time since I posted anything and I thought I share some images I made at work.
So this was a commissioned work not a personal project. But luckily I got so much liberty in the workflow so I think it turned out pretty good. It was a competition so the buildings were not so much designed only the main principal. It was about the connection between the houses and the raw forest. They planned to leave the surroundings as untouched as it can get. Architects were LINK.
My favorite part is the little girl in the foreground but I had so much trouble with the client regarding her! On the original sketch there were more kids running home. Like a storm was approaching and they hurry home before the big rain. But the clients kept saying its like they are being chased by a freak or something hehehe. Eventually I had to change them for some other ppl (except for the girl! I just had to keep her! Althou I had to put some flowers in her hands…). Its just sooo hard to get clients to finally let this "happy flowers smiling sunshine" theme go…
There were a total of 3 images made in 5 days. On the main shot its about 50-50 between render and PS but the others are mostly done in PS (obviously…).
Unfortunately they did not win the competition…too bad
Thank you for watching the images! If you feel like it drop a line or two letting me know what you think!
